Absolutely fantastic service. I had almost resigned my old gen 1 Bose Dock to the dustbin until I found Invebo. I ordered a fixed price repair + a Bluetooth and Aux' In upgrade. True to their word, return label arrived, sent my unit, excellent communication throughout the very short process.

    Serial

I couldn't believe it when it arrived back within 4 days looking like a brand new unit and working perfectly, along with the bluetooth and aux' in sockets and even a new battery for the remote. I can't recommend Invebo highly enough (There aren't enough stars) and would use them again in an instant, although hopefully I won't have to. Thanks for providing a superb service.

Steve Murrell. Just a massive thank you!! The service was informative, simple to use and I was kept up to date every step of the way.

I can't fault Invebo, they did a fantastic job on my original SoundDock, they brought it up to date and gave it bluetooth, fixed the issue I had with it and gave access to a jack lead discreetly at the rear of the unit. I've been listening to my music through it today as soon as I got it back and it is amazing.

Thank you once again Invebo, you do exactly what you say you'll do. I had two Non functioning Bose series 1 sounddocks and tried to get them to work. I sent them in to Invebo for repair, upgrading to Bluetooth streaming and having a dock upgrade. I received them back very quickly. Each unit was thoroughly cleaned and looked like new. They even gave me a spare button battery for the remote control unit.

They both work like new and it reminds me how excellent the sound quality is through them. Knocks the socks off units like UE Boom. I then had a faulty original power supply on one of the Sounddocks and I sent this in to them.

It was a really quick turnaround, came back in its original white Bose casing and now worked perfectly. What a service! I read their reviews and looked at the various repair options.

They are the only company who do this and I cannot praise them highly enough. Use them - you will not be disappointed, I promise you! I sent two parts for my two Bose Sound docks to Invebo for repair and upgrade. When they were returned to me one of parts was not fully functional.

After telling them about the problem Invebo told to return the defective part for evaluation. I shipped the defective part to them via USPS at a cost of $22.50 for postage.

The defective part was returned to me in working order. I then sent them the receipt for the postage and requested a reimbursement of $22.50 for the postage that I paid to return the defective part to them.

They have refused to reimburse me for my costs that was caused by no fault of my own but caused by Invebo sending me a defective product. They are also very slow in responding to questions and performing the work and returning the parts. Hi Nelson, We're very sorry to hear about your negative experience. At Invebo we offer a free returns service and free returns information was sent to you. Unfortunately you had disposed of the original packaging and chose to ship the part to us through USPS which costs $22.50 instead of the usual $13.50. It is clearly stated in our Terms & Conditions that shipping costs are non-refundable. However, on this occasion to preserve goodwill, we will happily refund you the full amount of $22.50, which has been sent to you through Paypal.

Our customer service are always very happy to help with inquiries and we thank you for your feedback. Invebo Customer Service Team #pages/review/stacked/showmore/zero#. Just to write a comprehensive (and honest) review of my experience with invebo. My Bose sounddock series 1 packed up and was seriously lost without it. Googled the pc for repairers For such items and came across videos on how to test/check for faults to said bose. (Invebo produced I might add ). Long story short is I took their advice, stripped it down, posted the faulty part to test (which was free by the way), got an email saying what I was expecting, needs repairing.

Part was then, quite quick if I might add, repaired, returned, replaced and. Hey Presto!!!,back working. 1st class service.

Laura and Ed were excellent in their customer care, will definitely use again (if needed). I felt compelled to respond, given how little technical information exists about Invebo's BC7 bluetooth product, and the availability of competing alternatives that offer better bang for the buck, and have better specifications. The BC7 device works on the Bose Sounddock I Generation 1 with a Type A 12v firewire connector (serial number begins with serial no.

'03570'), and Bose Sounddock I Generation 2 with a Type B 5v USB connector (serial number begins with “0498” or “052398”). Invebo makes two different versions of the BC7 depending on whether you have a 12v or 5v connector. The manufacturer's website and e-mail response (in my personal experience) are vague as to the underlying bluetooth technology - I don't think this is unintentional given the following. Invebo claims the BC7 uses the CSR bluecore 6 chipset, and does not have aptX. This will either be the BC6130 chipset which is Bluetooth 2.0, or the BC6140 or BC6145 chipsets, which are Bluetooth 3.0.

According to CSR (which makes the bluecore chipset) website, bluecore 6 chipsets appear to be intended for mono headset applications. In defense of their technology, one of the design engineers from Invebo claimed that there is no perceptible difference in sound quality between docked and bluetooth streams. The BC7 may still be a great product, however unless Invebo is more forthcoming about its components and specifications, and has its products reviewed on well known independent websites (i.e. CNET, crutchfield), I would be weary parting with $75 (plus S&H).

There are numerous alternatives that cost less, and appear to be better spec'd. These include the IDC-i4 ($30), which is Bluetooth 4 and aptx, BMR A2DP 2in1 ($30), which is Bluetooth 4, but no aptX, and CoolStream Duo BTR102 ($30), which is Bluetooth 3, and no aptX. All of these products work on 1st and 2nd gen models, and have good reviews on Amazon. If you have a 2nd generation model, you have alot more options. There is also the ZIO CSR Bluetooth 4.0 aptX ($20), and Layen I-dock 4.0 ($36), which also have good reviews on Amazon. I paid £99 to have my SoundDock repaired and upgraded.

The website says.all docks will be fitted with a new docking connector. And '.also includes the USB charge upgrade modification to enable the dock to charge and play all iPhones and the newest Apple devices that require USB charging.' This isn't true. It came back with an old-style connector (not iphone 5 / 6) and I can't charge my phone at all. When I rang and explained, the guy said 'well, we've sold hundreds of these and nobody has ever complained.' I asked if he'd like some customer feedback so he could understand why / how I had misunderstood, and his reply was 'not really' Maybe they do a good job. But the service they sell is not the service they advertise, and I can't remember speaking to somebody so rude on the phone.

The only solution he offered was for me to package the dock and go to the post office (again) so that they could undo the repair, refund my money and send a broken dock back to me. If you can find someone else to do the repair, I'd avoid these guys. I wouldn't recommend them. Spent the money to salvage the BOSE system so I thought this would be a good investment.

I read the customer reviews and thought everything was good. Then things crapped out for no reason.

Apparently their parts don't last. Oh yeah and the reviews.they pick what they want shown as it says really small that the reviews are 'unsolicited'.

This means that they pick info from emails to show. I can't go on their website and warn other people.

Hence why I have chosen this forum. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY with INVEBO.
